Quick and Easy Morning Routines For Those Early Classes

Just in case you haven’t had time to check your calendar recently: it’s already February. This means that the exciting first weeks of the semester, where we want to get up early and look cute everyday to impress our new classmates, is sadly winding down. Now, we all find ourselves waking up approximately 20 minutes before class starts just to do the bare minimum hair and makeup and throw on a pair of leggings. But, I’ve figured out a way that getting ready for class doesn’t have to be a painful hour-long process. I know I am no style or beauty expert, but this is a quick and easy routine that I recommend for girls who just want to roll out of bed, and go to class without ever looking like they just did so!

Pick Out Your Outfit The Night Before Class

We all begin the semester by dressing cute for class every single day. For instance, the entire first week of school I found myself choosing and laying out my outfit the night before and putting a lot of thought into each and every one. By the second week, though, I started thinking “Eh, I’ll just pick something out when I wake up.” In other words, I started wearing leggings and a sweater every day… not my best work. But, it’s time to get back into the swing of things! There’s still more than enough time left in the semester to once again start putting your most fashionable foot forward. So, each night before you go to bed, take two or three minutes to choose an outfit. You will then not only get to sleep in a few extra minutes, but you will also show up to class every day looking cute, and put together!

Quick And Easy Hair And Makeup

Some people love taking the time to do a full face of makeup every day for class. Power to those of you who do, I need you to teach me your ways, because unfortunately, I am not one of these people. I’ve found that my ideal makeup routine for class consists of just a few quick and easy steps. First, I make sure my face is washed and any leftover mascara or residue is cleaned off. It’s best to start with a clean slate. Next, I apply my liquid foundation and a little concealer if I stayed up too late the night before and look tired. Then, I’ll finish the look with a slight highlight, a touch of mascara, and some tinted chapstick, creating the perfect fresh-faced look! If you want to add a pop of color to brighten up your day, simply add brightly colored lipstick or eyeliner to complete your look. And as far as hair goes in the morning, I’ve found that taking a shower and blow drying out my hair the night before, works best for me because it saves me so much time in the morning. That way, I can wake up, run a brush through it, and am all ready to go!
